The Points North
The Points North, formerly known as Saint Joe Hazelwood, is an acoustic band from Boston, MA who play minimalist folk that can best be described as a soundtrack to the harsh yet strangely nostalgic New England winter. Beautiful melodies bleed through The Points North's sparse arrangements and serve as a canvas for singer Chris Alspach's literate poetry. Chris' voice is delicate yet confidant and he uses it to deliver lyrics that are simultaneously intensely personal and strikingly universal. (press kit, high res image)
